we used a solus diagnostic scanner (not at an autoparts store either)...the

Dang, that is going to HURT! You might gamble on a salvage yard unit? Be sure you flush every single line, nook and cranny with fresh fluid no matter which way you decide to go. I believe Jeep recommends DOT-4 fluid for the ABS vehicles. That is all I use in any of my vehicles all the way back to the 60's models, it has a little higher boiling point and is less absorbant to moisture as well. Good Luck, Bruce |

I believe Jeep recommends DOT-4 fluid for the ABS vehicles. not really. i can get the unit remanned for $125.00. jeep want $774.00 for a new one, so i'll go the remann, flush everything and put new fluid in and see what happens. thanks.
