You would think so, but if you have no working fans, that gauge 'has' to
swing a lot more than normal if it is a working gauge.
At speed the gauge could read normal, but when in traffic, it would have
to go up.

The relay switches have failed a couple of times with my
Sister-in-law's Cherokee: http://www.----------.com/99cherok.jpg Hers
stalled too, after it was hot enough to spray water on the electrical
system, saving the engine.
