All,
What is involved in installing the Mopar trailer light wiring kit? The
dealer quoted me $38 for the part and $120 for labor (1.5 hours).
Doesn't the thing just plug into a socket on the wiring harness somewhere?

If your Jeep didn't come with the tow package your going to
have to tap into the rear lighting harness. Best bet, find your
local trailer guy & he'll have what you need & can tell ya what
to do or he could hook it up for way less then the dealer. I want
to say the wire with connector is like 12 bucks.
