Get the right kit and you can do it yourself.
I spent close to $40 for the trailer wiring kit.
I got it at my local Jeep Specialist
http://backcountryproducts.com/
so I had a high degree of faith that it was the right
one. It was very complete and the instructions were
easy enough to follow. I had it installed in about
30 minutes on my '02.
Do not get the generic kit that you have to splice
into the harness. Getting the right kit that simply
plugs in is well worth the extra $20 bucks or so in
my opinion.

waiting for the trailer harness.
