Yes, that answers my question. I have had 6 vehicles with electric locks,
this is the first one that I have noticed won't unlock all the doors via the
key.
But if it is not supposed to work then I won't worry about it although it
will make it a bit more difficult to open the door when you have a lady
riding with you.

It's working correctly. Only the driver's door can be locked/unlocked with the

That depends on what flash code your Jeep has.
On most it's the same, two turns to unlock and all the doors
unlock. Also in 2002 that feature could be programmed by the
dealer to unlock all or just the driver door. But I'm not sure
if it could do both that year.
