I'd not seen problems with electric fans, it is usually the clutch fans that
fail.
The brake issue was finally 'cured' late in the '02 model year by the change
from the problematic Teves to Akebono calipers.
There was a TSB on it.. you got new calipers, rotors, and pads...
First thing you should do is loosen and retorque the lugnuts to about 90
pounds all around
