We had that happen repeatedly on a Volvo we had. Something
involving the fan clutch. Make sure you get guaranteed work done. Re: 2002 Jeep grand sport cooling fan
I'd not seen problems with electric fans, it is usually the clutch fans that
fail. The brake issue was finally 'cured' late in the '02 model year by the change from the problematic Teves to Akebono calipers. There was a TSB on it.. you got new calipers, rotors, and pads... First thing you should do is loosen and retorque the lugnuts to about 90 pounds all around "Andy & Carol" <aforn@worldnet.att.net> wrote in message news:Ry6wg.437244$Fs1.219133@bgtnsc05-news.ops.worldnet.att.net... > This is a electric fan mounted on the radiator, service manager > said the control system goes insane and turns the fan off nad on > cracking the fan..I dont know much about Jeep, this is my sons, > and on vacation. > I am familiar with GM and Honda. > I just hope they can make it home alright..he has had a lot a problems > with it, especially the brakes.
