This is home now. I think I know a little how Mr. Bush feels now, too. I
have half the town thinking I am a vengeful, spiteful maniac, and the other
half hoping I "get the bastards". You said something before about being in
"for the long haul". What I like about the current situation is that I now
know who my friends are.
A previous county commissioner left town after losing an election, by ten
votes. Don't believe what anyone tells you about this being a friendly
little mining town. Authentic maybe. And if you want to tell everyone how
you feel on an issue, it will cost about two hundred bucks worth of
stationery and postage. I wrote "permission granted to distribute copies"
on my last news letter, and people took my word for it too...
