Excessive Hood Movement

Re: Excessive Hood Movement
2summer is right and it's free-removing that spring will allow the stock hold downs to do their job, without the reciprocating effect of the spring
I also removed that wimpy black rubber lip and installed a rubber trunk gasket all the way across, now no movement at 80 mph and with trucks passing and by the way, I still have my lower air dam in place and it lowers the air flow, into the engine compartment, besides many other benefits !

Yo! olliebamino
Yes, those are it but U can't buy them directly form Daystar, Just click where to buy and find a place close to U.
Not that hard to install just a bit tricky. Go on page 2 #15, those are the photos I took and the tools U need and read the instructions there is rigthway to install them.

Re: Excessive Hood Movement
I've read about several guys in California and Texas (heat), that the Daystars have started stretching after less than a year and the hood starts moving again !
Take the spring out !!
