Little Guy Teardrop Trailers - Home

Im going to head to a dealership, perhaps this weekend, to check them out in person. They intrigue me. I dont really need a washroom in my trailer, just need something more comfortable and dry than a tent.

Ninja Edit - They also have an off-road version that has a great review for it. Little Guy Lil' Rough Rider Teardrop Camper Trailer - Off Road Tires - 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine

I'll check it out, I don't really want a washroom in my trailer because I don't want to have to deal with that system I hear they can be a pain in the ass :-P.

But I would like Minimum 1 Queen or King bet even if I have to fold it out or whatever, Propane/electric fridge, propane exterior BBQ mounts and propane stove with decent onboard water storage. Thats my minimums, extras I would like is AC, gas genny and solar pannels with inverters.

So i am really looking for a "camping trailer" the little guy trailers seem like a good solo thing, I'd like something semi livable.

Also, who goes camping to live indoors, certainly not Jeep owners! :P

I already looked at the trillium trailers. I even talked to the trillium guys, they don't have any production or even sales facilities in Ontario. They said I would have to drive to Alberta to pick it up.

GVR on them is still almost 3000lbs. Looks like popup trailers really give you the best weight to space ratio.

Crazy crazy..

Ok i found some research saying that;

"Towing capacity varies based on which axel ratio you choose. You’re limited to 2,000 lbs with the 3.21 ratio while the 3.73 ratio raises that figure to a 3,500-lb maximum trailer capacity."

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Review: Car Reviews

It's at the bottom of the article above the picture, so is this true? Can i get a Jeep Employee to confirm this for me? If so that means I can get a really nice trailer, i have the 3.71 Axle Ratio and this would make my day!

Very impressive! I love the colour. (Looked back after posting - thought I was replying directly on the photo of the yellow jeep with the yellow trailer!)

Yes the setup of Duke is really nice.

I picked-up a 2012 Wrangler Sport 2dr on Friday morning to replace the 2006 Suzuki GV we had. Installed a hitch, wiring and brake controller, and Saturday morning went to bring back our camping trailer from where it was stored for the winter about 40km away.

It's a Boler and weights around 1500 lbs. It went nice and hardly noticed it was behind.

Yeah I'd really like a setup like that, I don't have a hitch or know how to setup a break controller or anything to that. But that's really what I am looking to do for sure.
