Re: camping trailer for Jeep JK
Does anybody have (or know of a good place to get) one of those tent/camping apparatus things that attach to the back/top of the jeep? They seem to be everywhere in Australia . . . and are very portable/compact and practical.

Thanks Paul - I'm thinking if we put bigger tires under it might become a little top heavy but it is impressive what the Sprite went through on the Baja.

I have a 10ft skamper pop up camper that im modifying to be more off road freindly. Adding an axle flip. 1.5" shakle lift and bigger tires and wheels. I should get 6 good inches of lift from this. I need to get a different coupling system to take the off camber off roading. I also have 2 Pro comp shocks to add to it as well.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any dealers in ontario that sell trailers 2500lbs and under that are like the sprite 400? I know that sprite is still making them in the UK but i am having trouble finding anything under 5000lbs new

Look at Jayco trailers, I believe it's their feather lights that are lightweight. They are off-road capable though.

You could always check out the little guy trailers,
Little Guy Teardrop Trailers - Home Im going to head to a dealership, perhaps this weekend, to check them out in person. They intrigue me. I dont really need a washroom in my trailer, just need something more comfortable and dry than a tent. Ninja Edit - They also have an off-road version that has a great review for it. http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/te...amper_trailer/ |
