Ordered my Gecko JK Sahara on February 28th. No idea how long it will take. Dealer promised to track it and let me know.

 

Well I am brand spanking new to this forum and will be placing my order on Saturday. Saw the Gecko but since there was no paint chip it was really hard to see what the actual colour looks like so I'm going to stick with the Crush.

But I would LOVE to see pics of your Gecko!!!

 

I was at the dealer today....just thought I would check in...and saw a Dozer and Crush side by side. They both looked pretty good. I can't wait to see a Gecko with them.

Also checked on my build, still D status for me.

 

For me it came down to gecko and crush, and decided to go for the gecko without seeing it. In the meantime pictures surfaced on other forums, and I love the look of the Gecko. Good luck with your purchase. Wranglers are awesome in any colour.

Okay. So 8-10 weeks before delivery :( - south shore of Montreal -
There was a Arctic Edition available at the dealer close to home, my wife is going crazy with it!!!! It's true that it looks great, especially color Winter Chill - pale blue - but I would almost feel bad going down the trail and scratch the shiny fenders and hard top. lol On top of that, it is 5k more on the final bill. Since we are willing to pay that much for the Jeep, we decided to go with the Rubi. We both like the aggressive look and contrast given by the black fenders on it - looks more like a mud toy than a luxury off roader - personal opinion here - My wife will decide the color and we go back to order....

Silly question from a newbie- as I am factory ordering a Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, would I be able to order black fenders instead of the body colored ones? That would look so much cooler with the Gecko Pearl colour!

 

Just thought I would mention that Chrysler has added another cash incentive.
For Saskatchewan there is the $2000 consumer cash, and now an additional $1000 bonus cash.
Whoo Hoo! free money!

 

Excellent. That's about what the incentives got to last year. Save another 1000 bucks...gotta love it.
