If you are referring to my post, I don't need luck. Thanks for your concern.

Well thanks for the info...may have to look at getting the black fenders waaaay down the road...

I still think the Gecko will look great with the black hard top all the same! Looks like I'm ordering it tomorrow! Eek!!! ;)

You get the rebate of any month inbetween time of order and time of delivery. If you ordered in February and the rebate was $2000 then in March the rebate was $3000 then in April your jeep arrives and April's rebate is $500 dollars, you inform the dealer you are claiming March's rebate of $3000. I spoke in great lenght with Chrysler HQ about this as I am in the same position. If the dealer has an issue with it, he must call the rebate HQ. When I know my jeep is en-route I will try to get something in writing from Chrysler about this. The process is supposed to be automatic between the dealer and Chrysler. As far as Chrysler is concerned the jeep is not sold until it is delivered to the dealer and signed off from there, and at that time the rebate kicks in. You have make sure the dealer does this. The rebate is between Chrysler and the customer (us), not the dealer. There are Factory to Dealer rebates, which the dealer can if they wish to pass to the customer, however these February and March rebates are Factory to Customer rebates. This is the no. of the Rebate HQ @ Chrysler, speak to them and clarify it all, and if they give a different story I got, post here. I do know the dealers try to invoke rebate at time of order or rebate at time of delivery. I stressed this to the Rebate HQ and they insisted it is any month in between: Rebate Program Headquarters at 1-800-265-6908

That's exactly what I was told, too.

I ordered a 2012 BFG JK Sahara and it is sitting in BX status (ordered 02/14). Should the dealer not already have the VON so I can contact Chrysler myself to track the order?

Anyone have an idea how long it takes to move out of BX? I've been sitting in it for 2 weeks. I need my jeep by mid-April. I hope it's here by then

Did I overpay? $28.5k for a 2012 JK Sahara Manual with heated seats, sirius, 3.73 and anti-spin diff coming from the factory. I feel I'm $1000 over what it should be

Your dealer should have a VON for you. I ordered mine on Feb. 18. The dealer gave me the VON when I placed the order. Although I don't know what good the VON does for us as far as tracking goes.

With the VON or VIN you should be able to track your Jeep at: https://www.jeep.com/vots/
I don't think it works for Canadian placed orders, at least it did not work for me. If anybody was successful, please let us know.
