Mine has the Chrome grill factory as well as Chrome strip down the side. So adding the deflector in Chrome was because I was getting rock chips and I wanted it up there, and the black one didn't fit the look of the vehicle

Today I installed my 2 inch budget boost, did the front pads, bled the brakes and gave it a nice bath. Tomorrow I'm gonna go to mr lube and make them redo my tranny pan gasket because I got it done there a few months ago and noticed when it was on the hoist today that its leaking like hell out of the pan gasket.

Make sure that they didn't throw away the re-usable rubber gasket and just RTV'ed it on or put a cheap cork gasket in instead.

Well my day is going to consist of changing the brakes on both the gf's WJ and mine. I also have to check a squeeking noise from the back which is a wheel bearing that I just had replaced and I think they didn't butt the collar up tight so it's got some slop in it. If there is time afterwards I'll start taking a look at the electrical problems in the ZJ. So much for a nice relaxing Sunday.
I managed to find a guy on ebay that was selling the 63mm TB's for 90.00US so hopefully that will be here soon. (next week).
And I thought the never ending story was a fantasy movie.

today consisted of lying on nearly frozen pavement to button-up my exhaust again... something rattled loose in about Montreal and im just getting around to tightening it up now... only rattles at idle... like in a drive thru when the stereo is off... its about driving me nuts... i knew it was going to be an issue with how close the muffler is to the frame...
a silly mod that really wont get you anything for the TB but for the sake of saying you modded it... if you can find some flat screws, and have a countersink tool, you can actually countersink your plate screws... i know it comes with some crap Allen screws... and ofcourse polishing up the inside...
but with that 63mm throttle body you'll see it wake up a little bit in mid to high range rpms

Crazy, if you'd quit picking up all those girls and taking them off roading your muffler wouldn't be loose. :)
I'm just hoping that with the bigger TB and bigger tires it will help keep it from shifting up and down all the time when I've got the cruise control on, heard that it does help quite a bit and the price was right to find out.

it should, but you might notice a loss in your low end... i cant remember cause it's been so long since I've had the stock throttle body...
this morning, some parking lots got attacked by the jeep... my roomie and i went out and were doing some donuts and drifts in the parking lot... he was in his grand prix, with studded tires, just whipping around and doing slaloms around the light poles...
at 2am, i tried to go get us some food, had my jeep in RWD, and couldn't get going what so ever... it just kept spinning and spinning and spinning... regardless of how much i feathered the gas, i might have got to 10kph lol! put it in fulltime 4, and she drove like a champ...
keep in mind, i've got summer tires... almost down to the treadwear markers... so yea lol... not the best in the snow HAHA
