searching and pricing out suspension lifts, right now it seems the 4" rc is the best bang for the buck, major tune up to the engine, installed better head unit also this weekend ( stock one finally caved), and started removing the rust from the d/s/r fender thinkin of doing a rock guard along the bottom??

Installed my new stereo head unit (Kenwood KDC-X995) and got a new windshield put in.

 

I put my new header panel in, put the bumper back on, and new head/signal/indicator -lights.

 

Haven't done anything this week other than trying to stay dry. The weather here is Kitimat is unbelievable!!

 

My Cat Died...

I mean my Catalytic Converter finally kicked the bucket... or well a large portion of it is currently lodged in my muffler... i have no exhaust pressure out the tail pipe... and know know every spot i have an exhaust leak... Check engine isn't even on so i dont think the entire element had made its way thru...

Debating on a straight pipe or actually putting in a new cat...

 

I cut mine out last year when it was starting to sound like a bucket full of gravel. Going to have to replace the muffler soon though, why can't this stuff ever happen when I have extra cash??

well i replaced my muffler with a Dynomax, and i even went thru the effort to cut the cat with the plasma and weld in new pipes... i think i had 4 pipes between the cat and the stock muffler... seriously was stupid...

i think im straight piping it... $85 for a new cat is a bit intense... who cares if the check engine comes on, i'm pulling the bulb.

 

Insured, registered, and on the road good to go!

Drove down to North Carolina...She drove like a champion... only 1 issue, a siezed up U joint on the right knuckle, i could progressively hear a louder ticking, especially while turning...

Easy enough fix (but i should fix the abs wheel, on the axle itself... might help with my cruise control issue...

but i've got my 2 ZJ's parked next to each other... might switch a bunch of parts over to my 98 and sell off the 93... or vice versa depending on how it runs.
