Finally got a day without rain here so I put the winch in. Everything went well but was pretty nervous about cutting the top of the bumper up. Had that "here goes 1200 bucks" thought going through my head while I was cutting it.
I think it came out pretty well though.

Well it's raining again in sunny BC...who would have figured on that? Going to have to throw a tarp over the Jeep so I can go and finish wiring up my driving lights today.
Went for a cruise up to Prince Rupert yesterday at least the sun was shining there.

I like the WJ's overall, but I like driving either one. Like any older vehicle my ZJ's and the TJ require a little more upkeep. Usually things like the electrical because Dodge has always had a thing about using the cheapest wire possible. The ZJ's are easier to get aftermarket parts/ upgrades for though so it all balances out in the end.
Well, I recently installed a new stereo that belonged to my moms car. A good sony explod model that has subwoofer adjust.
I also installed 2 rockford 6 inchers in the front doors. The old speakers were warped and sounded like crap. At this same time i put a hydrolic jack in the back to make jacking way faster and easier.
Anyone know if using a hydrolic jack is super safe?
My dad (hd mechanic would never use one).
Thats all for now folks.

If this is the kind of jack your talking about they work very well. I have one in the back of the Jeep myself. Just remember that you should lift on the axle tube not the differential.
04WJGuy, I was referring to the WJs not the Wks. Oh and I got new-to-me tires put on my Jeep today. Some 33x9.50r15 BFG All Terrain T/A 's, they still don't have any KO 's in production yet.

Like I said, I like the WJ's, I think one of the best things (most fun) is when I show up for a ride and the people there haven't been out in one before. First they think I'm crazy for wheeling a "soccer mom" Jeep and then later they spend the day chasing me.
