Cool, now you'll have a running one and a rolling parts Jeep. No Jeep action this week, parents are up visiting so have to be good and not take any "shortcuts" to the mall.

picked up some silicone spray to spray all my seals to stop my doors from sticking...

started troubleshooting some electrical bugs, basically my interior lights and all of that begins to flicker...and noticed i had to resolder the light switch on the dash... but am going to trace out my dash grounds and check them all out make sure their all in good shape...

also Canadian tire had Pro Start on sale, with the door locks and alarm built in... since i picked up a couple shady neighbours yeah its definetly going in my jeep

Waiting for it to warm up a little mor so I can adjust the transmission bands, don't feel like playing in tranny fluid with cold wrenches when it's -32

Well when i bought the jeep buddy gave me a Kenwood CD player with it... and well i hate kenwood decks... so i went to swap in the factory cd player, but apparently he broke it (probably punched it) the kenwood deck (as i was expecting) died yesterday...

so i went to town, having limited options for finding a replacement deck, i headed to Canadian Tire... and they had a Freeway DVD player on sale, it has a built in 3" screen, and supports just about every format out there, has inputs for multiple cameras, as well as for multiple monitors... Ipod dock and all that goodness integrated to the unit... for $100...

I know freeway units are garbage, i can already tell you the menu system on it is garbage... and you have to use the remote control for ALOT of its functions... but i figure for the price, and the fact that its OK at playing regular cd's im not going to complain... even if this thing dies in less than a year

now im looking at getting a couple little waterproof camera's, a mini DVR, and maybe a larger screen for the back (i have a 15.4" screen down in the states... hmmmm!)

I was looking at those with the idea of putting one in the back to keep the grandkids busy but I was wondering if it had an output for a remote screen and if so what kind of output.
