My First Jeep
Hey guys, i just purchased my first jeep a couple days ago. Its a 93 Grand Cherokee 4.0L, and here's the cool thing. It came with a 93 Grand Wagoneer V8 as a parts truck....hmmm? What should i do with that! I'm sure i could use plenty of parts off the wagonneer, its not worth fixing but the engine is great and so is all the glass and most of the panels, so where does a guy start? I joined this site so i could get some jeep wisdom...so lay it on me!

Re: My First Jeep
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new-to-you Jeep!
I'd start small with a good fluids/filters change, and check the battery. Then eventually move on to bigger things like cv joints, bushings, shocks, tre's, exhaust....

Re: My First Jeep
Yah that's usually the standard protocol for any used vehicle I buy. I'm more interested in The initial things that I could do to improve the specs or performance of the jeep. For instance, is there anything that grand Cherokee owners do that is specific to the grand Cherokee? Not that checking the axles and all that isn't good advice, thanks for letting me know. I need all the expertise I can get. I'm an intermediate wrench turner at best. One thing that I must say is this jeep runs at highway speeds at a real low rpm. I'm impressed, only about 2100 to 2200 rpm at roughly 110kms an hour.
Thanks and continue the advice please.
