What was your first Jeep?

Re: What was your first Jeep?
Hi there, newbie here.
My first Jeep is a 1953 ****** Overland Pickup, I'd still be driving if the clutch had not burnt :) I bought it at an auction for $600 and drove it away, now it sits and awaits rebuild

Re: What was your first Jeep?
My first was a used 89 xj 6cy manuel with ard 150,000km on it which I bot for offroading. I modified it with lots of steel protection and raised it all home made modifications, lots of work but thats half the fun when you can do it yourself and of course have your buddies help you and you them. Well after about 50,000 km, I had a bad misfortune it burnt completely inside from the firewall to the back door from I beleive electrical under the dash. I salvaged the undercarriage and some parts under the hood that hadn't melted and sent it to jeep heaven. I now have a 03 tj with 98,000km which I am modifing for offroading, raised it 4 in, 33" tires, new winch, working on tire carrier and a few other odds and ends. But its a HOBBY and I enjoy it. You cannot go wrong with a JEEP, they don't drive like a car, its a jeep thing you will know it when you get your first one. Good Luck
