Canada It's really cool when another jeep owner waves at you for the first time.

Hey everyone, really cool to be here. Picked up my 2012 jku with only 18k kms just yesterday. (Htd seats, color match hard top, remote start) It still has that new car smell y'know? I've wanted a jeep for as long as I can remember, rented them umpteen times, for weeks on end while traveling through Mexico. What a blast....I guess that's where I got hooked. I suppose you can say that Jeeps kinda choose their owners in a way. Either you have it in you or you don't....all I can say is, when I'm not out there driving it....I'm looking at it through my window. Enough rambling, I'm Graham, 40 yrs old, live east of Montreal, don't plan on any mods just yet, but who knows. Hope to meet some of you someday, if not just wave at the next jeep you see, it might be me.

Welcome,

East York here! If my jeep wasn't put away in my garage I'd stare at it too! Although I feel like I can burn through the walls with my x ray vision and see my beauty any ways :)

The JEEP Wave ... It's something only a JEEP owner would understand... Congrads on the JEEP you will go where no one has gone before.. believe me... Enjoy..

Yup, thanks Mr. White, I was driving around doing errands today and everytime I saw another Jeep coming our way I'd tell my wife, "look, watch, ok? You watching? he's gonna wave, you watch...", sure enough.....Jeep wave. She just stared at me in disbelief...I love it. Had a little fun too, drove it over/through some imposing snowbanks, freaked out my wife a little, but then she said, "you're keeping this for a long time, right?". I love that woman....

I also noticed the first time I drove my Jeep that other Jeep drivers would wave or flick their lights. Also the first time I was filling up at the gas station another Jeep drove up. He came over to look at my Jeep and I told him I just got it. He shook my hand and started telling me how to look after stuff. It was really neat. That never happened with the mini van before.

Upgrades? Well, I'm not sure just yet. I think I'll enjoy it the way they made it for a while and then we'll see. I definatly want another 2 sets of tires/rims. Winters on some steelies, low resistance summers on the original mags (I do ridiculous milage) and a set of 16" pro-comps with some decent mudders for those occasional dirty adventures,

As for a suspension lift......not just yet, I have to pick my battles. I was able to get the Jeep without to much grief from my wife so maybe next year. As it stands now I've got the soft top ready and raring to go, just have to wait for the weather to warm up to at least -5c, lol. I'm gonna get the one piece front grill insert, saw it on here somewhere, change up the lights for some HID's and maybe window mounted trail lights..........good thing I'm not too sure yet, huh?
