cold air intake

Re: cold air intake
Yea if you actually look thru a K&N you'll see white spots all thru it, this isn't good at all lol... they flow like crazy but suck as a filter, if you have one, i dont recommend you follow anyone on a dirt path, cause you'll end up sucking up all that nasty grit for sure...
definetly street use, or if you have it enclosed in a snorkel or something like that... less dust dirt and debris make it to where the filter is located...
everything has to go in equal levels, the engine is a glorified Air pump, and changes on restrictions on either side are going to affect the other side aswell... so ideally you want to combine the intake and exhaust mods together in balanced levels
next time your vaccuming cover up the exhaust abit, or hook it suction hose up to a larger pipe and see how that all works... (for forced induction start blowing air into the suction and watch that thing go crazy lol)
it all has to be a fine balance for it to be optimal in performance and efficieny
