Canada antenna prob

My 93 grand had its antenna broke off from my little bro driving for the first time off road. the arial looks like an power antenna but it looks like i have no option to move it up or down on the dash. i was wondering how to replace it with a new solid arial when the mounts are different. the old one is hollow and had a plastic rod in the centre. if you can help i appreciate it thx

The 93-95 did have a power antenna which was powered by simply turning the radio on. In 96-98 the power antenna was deleted for a non powered antenna. The fenders are the same from 93-98 so if you get a solid antenna from a 96-98 it should mount right in place of the old one.

Another option is to replace the antenna with a "rubber ducky" antenna so you don't have to worry about it getting bent. About 10" high and semi-flexible.
