Default 1988Yj SOA 35's

I have a 88 yj with a AMC 360 SOA sitting on 35's. Ive been having a problem with keeping u-joints in the rear drive shaft. I replaced the inner end outer pinion bearings hopeing this would fix the problem. Took her for a test drive just a short one and she did good. Before i replaced the bearings i wouldnt even have to step on the gas and she would blow the u-joint out. Does anyone have any input??

My guess would be that the axle is twisting under the torque and changing the angle of the u/joint to the point that it is beyond its ability to turn without something breaking.

Hi Biff, say Hi to Hap and *****... How are the mounts in your rig, as in the trans mounts etc. just grasping at straws. The angle is fine?

Cheers, don't whistle in the elevator.
