I don't know about the highway/city figures, but I have a 4 banger with a 5 speed and a 19 gallon tank and I get over 400 km per tank easy.

Most of my driving is city but I try to shift in a sensible manner and drive pretty reasonably most of the time. 2200 to 2500 RPM is my sweet spot for cruising, 2400 to 2900 for shifting.

I think it depends on your driving style... and gas is $0.665 here so it has come down a LOT lol

I ended up getting 2 tanks right at 535K to the tank on my way out to New Brunswick, that was to the low fuel light....
cruise was set at 115, and a couple spills at 140, and got it to 182kph for laughs...
and of course going thru some mountains.

yea im starting to think that my mods have helped, the only thing is i wont notice it until i go on a long trip that kills the majority of the tank, cause i have a heavy foot around town for sure... lol

i blame it on the extra power

You do know this is the TJ forum, right???
From what I gather, throttle body mods are virtually useless for TJ's and K&N filters rank right up there with the worst possible mods ever. But that's just me. I'm glad you noticed that huge increase in horsepower lol.
Sorry man, but nothing beats good maintenance and sensible driving as far a mileage is concerned.

sorry for a bit of off-topic, but I would like to put a different spin on mileage truth - I've never seen TJ with more than 160 000 km on it, is it maximum it can go?
