lower steering shaft replacement

Default lower steering shaft replacement

Hello all. I just picked up a 98 TJ. 4cyl 5 speed. 170000km. Looks ok. I do need to replace the lower steering shaft. Where is the best place in Ontario to by parts. What else should I check?

I've been in parts for 13 years & the best thing I can say is to try every where possible even the dealer. Sometimes you'll be suprised. Personaly I would stay away from used where it is steering & a saftey issue!
