Jeep won't start after radiator replacement
Hi,
I'm new to this site & I'm also a proud owner of a 97 jeep tj 4.0 L. I recently changed my radiator along with the thermostat. This was my first fixer upper, & everything went well. So it seemed, buy my jeep won't start. It cranks, but the engine won't fire. I even got a boost from a friend, thinking it may be the battery. It still would not start!! I'm I missing something?? Help!!
Thanks,
Neil

Re: Jeep won't start after radiator replacement
My old rad cracked & needs to be changed. I decided to change the thermostat, since it was an easy thing to replace. I finally figured out, as to why my jeep wasn't starting!! I had disconnected the battery for a long time & so I'm guessing that it lost it's charge. So, when I turned it on, I just held down the gas pedal at 1000 rpm for bout 5 min. It all worked out!!
