Default Got a problem

Ok I have a 98 TJ 2.5 5 speed. it has about 155,000 kms on it. I was driving along today when it suddenly wont go forward in any gear,It will shift into every gear just no forward motion. The drive shaft is turning no grinding or parts flying off.... I had to put it in 4 high just to get it home. Any one have an idea what is wrong? Cheers Karl

Sounds like a broken axle or failed ring & pinion.

If the axle has broken it usually moves out as can be seen by looking at rear wheel placement to see if it has moved out in comparison to the body and other wheel.

LOL I got to inspect the problem close up. In a 8 bolt rear end you expect to see 8 bolts mine was rebuilt with only one :) Easy fix :)
