Take a look at the Kumho line of M/T tires. They are almost half the price of a comparable "big brand" and they have very similar technology/tread patterns. In fact their their M/T 834 model is almost identical to the BF Goodrich M/T.

I've had my Kumho AT's for two years and the wear and traction have surpassed my expectations, especially for the price.
