You are correct there has to be 12V there for the regulator to work.

Re: Yet another gauge question: CJ
Not necessarily... the 12V at the fuel gauge terminal I provides input to
the regulator. Do you have a volt meter? Simply measure for the 12V at fuel gauge I terminal. If it is there, then measure at temperature gauge A terminal for 5V (should be same as fuel gauge terminal A). Does the fuel gauge work? You seem to be stuck on the that. http://www.off-road.com/jeep/tech/el...y/SpedoPic.jpg JimG <ABanks5@columbus.rr.com> wrote in message news:fxdxb.28431$uw5.28361@fe2.columbus.rr.com... > So juice going to the fuel gauge could somehow not get to the temp gauge if > there is a malfunction in the fuel gauge correct? > Allen > > > > "JimG" <jimg@cj7_2muchspam.com> wrote in message > news:ufdxb.1120$IN2.85@news01.roc.ny... > > You are correct there has to be 12V there for the regulator to work. > > > > JimG > > > > <ABanks5@columbus.rr.com> wrote in message > > news:VTcxb.42381$kL2.28316@fe3.columbus.rr.com... > > > But isn't there only one hot wire going to the fuel gauge?
