Hi Mike,
Now you tell us, after the guy's tire falls off and rolls over ten
times, decapitating him. Oh well, he should have had a Real Jeep, where
we have never have lost a universal joint, and of course the Real Jeep
hub and floating bearings are not dependent on having an axle in place:

Dude...I used to have a log behind my Chevette seat to keep it up. When the
log started rotting and smelling bad...I used my football helmet (I got a
big melon)!!

Luckily it hasn't happened in my Jeep yet!

Seems to happen in drive-thru's while fishing in the back pocket for the
wallet!!
I now wear cargo pants and put the wallet in the side pocket!! lol
