If I was faced with your problem, I would pull the carpet and scrub it down,
let it dry and scrub it down again.
I would leave it out for a week or so before putting it back in. Having said
that, my Jeep has no carpet. I don't know that it has ever had carpets.
Carpets just make stuff for dead worms to stick to.
