There are come-alongs, and there are come-alongs, mine came from
the San Diego Gas and Electric Tool a Month Club, it's bullet proof.

There are different varieties of all of them.
My 'come-A-long' has a pulley block on it and only pulls about 8' at a
shot. It works easy on the arm.
