A snatch block requires a tree or another Jeep. One can not rely on these
where I live. A smart Jeeper will always go wheeling with at least two other
Jeeps, and 3 is better. The reason is, one Jeep weighs within a few pounds
of the other Jeeps, and two Jeeps might need to be tied together to create
an anchor heavy enough to keep the winch stationary. (Keep in mind that a
winch will merely draw the lighter load closer to the heavier load.) The
extra Jeep could be used as an anchor for the snatch block ...
