In the age of catalytic cracking, there is no unused or surplus
fraction. Using less is using less, period, and diesels use less. Less
is better. Every tanker of Mideast oil we don't need is several troops
not in harm's way. We are there for oil, and if we don't need oil we
will pull out eventually-leaving, to the dismay of the Jeboo-peddlers,
our good friends the Israelis to face the music and dance (straight
into the ocean.)

On the other hand, every barrel of oil we DON'T import means another
Canadian [top source] or Mexican who will be forced to travel to the
United States for employment. Saudi Arabia is number three exporter to
us, then two south american countries followed by Iraq in 5th place.

Huhhhh???????????
Canadians aren't coming here: Americans are going there. They can
afford to live there with no huge medical bills and affordable college
from those who can really benefit from college. many smart Americans
have emigrated. You can live better there, unless you are very
wealthy, and get dual citizenship.
Mexicans are sure as hell coming here, but only the ones who get no
benefit from oil, and wouldn't anyway. Successful Mexicans, and the
wealthy elite, like Mexico fine. Only their mestizo losers who can't
make it there come here, pissants we should send back by cutting off
employment before they F us up like they do their own country. The
white corrupt elite of Mexico doesn't want these trashburgers which is
why they dump them here. They laugh at us for allowing it. And rightly
so.
Mexico has lots of oil. They can't get to it because they nationalized
all the oil companies in the 30s and no oil company will go there.
Wealthy Mexicans will invest their money anywhere but Mexico, they
aren't stupid. In Mexico it's a national holiday the day they seized
the oil rigs from Yanqui imperialists.
But oil has nothing to do with immigration.
