Where is best place to buy a rebuilt ax15 transmisson?
Does napa or pepboys have a good price on rebuilt transmissions? What
is considered a fair price? I even see rebuilt ones on online auctions
like ebay but it seems a real pain to ship it and then ship your core
back.

Have you tried the auto wrecker? One from a 97 TJ cost me $1,000.00
Canadian 2 years ago, less then 80 K on the doner vehicle odometer, at that
time I think that was about $750.00 US.

I got a quote from a local salavge yard for $535 american for an AX-15 for
my YJ. Google it
