For an all terrain tire with limited serious mud, I'd agree with Carl.
I've had both of those and like them, with a slight nod toward the MT/R.
The BFG will wear better, however.

they are good but bfg makes a tire called sport king (AT) and mudking (mt)
they dont say BFG on them.. i have been buying them for my jeeps for years
and even put a set of 35's on my personal Jeep they are great, last a long
time, & perform gr
eat off road and they are inexpensive!! I pay 125 each for 35's!

The 'King' line is BFG's second line of tire with only 2 sidewall plies
vs the BFG's 3 ply sidewalls.
My CJ7 came to me with Mud Kings on. They work and wear well, but make
more noise than the BFG's I think.
I really like my BFG muds for both on and off road performance. Tall
skinny has super traction.
I have the AT's on the Cherokee and they are not as sticky on or off
road, likely because they are wider though....

I'd have to agree on this one. The BFG AT's are great tires if you're doing
mosty highway daily driver duty but lack in some offroad conditions. They
last forever though. I got about 40k miles on a set and they were still good
when I moved to MT's. I've used BFG MT's on 3 YJ's over the years. Not only
do they last a long time, they are great offroad. On road they make a lot of
rumble but I personally like that.
