Re: what kind of tires should i get
For an all terrain tire with limited serious mud, I'd agree with Carl.
I've had both of those and like them, with a slight nod toward the MT/R.
The BFG will wear better, however.

Re: what kind of tires should i get
The 'King' line is BFG's second line of tire with only 2 sidewall plies
vs the BFG's 3 ply sidewalls.
My CJ7 came to me with Mud Kings on. They work and wear well, but make
more noise than the BFG's I think.
I really like my BFG muds for both on and off road performance. Tall
skinny has super traction.
I have the AT's on the Cherokee and they are not as sticky on or off
road, likely because they are wider though....

Re: what kind of tires should i get
I'd have to agree on this one. The BFG AT's are great tires if you're doing
mosty highway daily driver duty but lack in some offroad conditions. They
last forever though. I got about 40k miles on a set and they were still good
when I moved to MT's. I've used BFG MT's on 3 YJ's over the years. Not only
do they last a long time, they are great offroad. On road they make a lot of
rumble but I personally like that.
