So then hitler was an automotive engineer,designing cars remarkably similar
to Porsche's earlier designs. Yup, Trust good old goebbels and the hitler
museum for the straight dope. Bill's swallowed 69 year old socialist
propaganda.
I could recommend a few books.
BTW, Henry Ford was a supporter of hitler, until war came. Do you own a
Ford?

Hitler was not an engineer, he was a leader, with ideas the people
liked, and one of them was the People's Car. I've already showed you his
1932 free hand drawing of:
http://www.hitler.org/artifacts/volk...volkswagen.jpg
Ford wasn't an engineer either.
The whole world shared Hitler's views, that's why we didn't allow
Jews to immigrate.
Worst part of it is, most of our bleeding heart liberals over
looked Saddam Hussein's killing, too.

You've been lied to, Bill, but you aren't alone -- a lot of people have
been told that that is an authentic quote and they repeat it believing it
is true. It isn't: There's no record of that quote in any speech made by
Hitler. The usual citation points to Page 3, article 2 of the April 15,
1935 issue of the Berlin Daily. It isn't there: Page 3 of that issue is
the Arts and Culture page, no Hitler speeches. The Straight Dope talks
about it here:
2. The Straight Dope Mailbag: The Straight Dope Mailbag: Did Hitler ban
gun ownership?
<URL:http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mhitlergun.html>
And reports that the pro-gun newsgroup talk.politics.guns debunks it
here:
<URL:http://rkba.org/research/rkba.faq>
Propaganda, no matter how noble the purpose, is always bad.
I'm certainly not interested in arguing about it, but since you're a guy
that has a reputation for handing out good information I thought that you
should know.

The fact is, Hitler could not have taken over without the
confiscation of the people's firearms. Period. The Gestapo would have
been blown away, just like any special police would have been here. Only
the weeny cowardly bleeding heart liberal could believe any different!
