this is a l960's chrysler engine....designed when Chrysler was not Krylser.
The dummies didn't know where to put the distributor, or the oil filter, but
other than that, it seems to be quite reliable and trustworthy.....good

The 318" was used between '57 and '67 to be exact. The distributor
and pump are driven off the rear of the cam, just like the Chevys:
