TJ acting up
About to go to the AutoZone and get the fault code read, but I thought I
would throw out a feeler for some help. Came back from a business trip
yesterday, got in the Jeep to go to the office and the check engine light is
on. It' sbeen sitting for about 4 days, no problem when I parked it. I pull
out of the driveway and it starts "bucking". Everytime I hit about 2000 rpm
it hesitates and feels like it misses. It will pull past it, runs ok at
speed, but shifting gears reproduces this. I checked to make sure the gas
cap was tight. Tried the ignition switch test (3 times on and off) but no
code comes up.
Any thoughts?

Re: TJ acting up
Hi Jerry,
Many times we don't give it enough time to run it's diagnostics
test. So wait at the end of the on, off, on, off, on. Some say we need
to clear the trip odometer before we start.

Re: TJ acting up
There's something to that. I'm not going to humiliate my self
telling you how I let my car know it's special, and loved, but I never
had to walk home, and I drive some mighty old cars.
