You really can't beat the ride vs. price on the DT3000s. They are about
$30 or so each and ride and perform well. Send the Ranchos back.
Is your TJ lifted? (I like the KOs too.)

because the more control the shock absorber has, the less bounce the car
has, for a longer period the tire has contact with the surface, for
better traction.
