Re: tires and the 2.4L
I have a 98 with a 2.5 (5 speed) with a 2 1/2 lift) with 33 x 12.5 and don't
have a problem. The only issue(s) that you may come across is long incline HWY
rides and if (I don't) off-road...clearence.
It looks great, the milage (heck Jeeps are as airodynamic as a brick
anyway) isn't affected much.
I wouldn't want 33's on an automatic ( with the A/C on) entering the freeway
with an 18 wheeler on the horizon. Haha
I never understood the concern.
