I've always used :wq! too... It was always hard to go from a telnet session
to a MS Word doc.... <esc>:wq! does interesting things to MS word...

The ":wq!" is just part of my signature so that other people who are
nerds like me can more easily identify the fact that I'm a nerd. ;-)
