And all of the posts of people bitching about his test post outnumber
the posts made in his test. With all the ---- this group has endured
because of billy boy and his net friends, I fail to see how one simple
little test post is going to make the world crumble. Now I just added
one more port to the test thread. There have been one or two test posts
here that I can remember in recent history, and thousands of posts from
"Bill and friends". If you're going to bitch about something, bitch
about the shitpile Bill has caused, not the one bunny pellet caused from
a test post.

It wouldn't do any good. In spite of all the good info and links Bill has,
his head is made of cobalt steel.

Although in some small manner I agree with you, the folks who know about
alt.test and the folks who know why you might not want to post to
alt.test tend to be a vanishing breed. And from a practical standpoint
no longer really useful for determining if your posts were reaching a
specific news group.
Plus, given the crap that is going on between our resident Ted Kaczynski
wannabe and his girl friends, I could welcome something as harmless as a
test post.

You are way over thinking this. Give it a rest.
He could have posted "'96 TJ, doors don't fit my CJ"
Then posted in the message box, "what's wrong?"
You would be perfectly fine with such a post, despite the fact that there is
no such thing as a '96 TJ.
Then all he would need do is sit around and wait for his post to percolate
through the servers and pop up here. Or, he can post "Test -- Disregard" and
pray to God that you disregard as he waits for it to appear on his screen.
Give it a rest, and disregard any post that specifically asks you to
disregard it.
