Re: Talk me out of buying Goodyear MT/R's?
I have used bfgoodrich at's on all my jeeps, xj cj5 f4 land cruiser and my
89 ford fsize bronco with excellent wear and little road noise. these are
not as aggressive as bfg mud terrains and i would never run anything else.
john
ps: i do run bfg mud terrains on my cj5 in the hills in the winter. great,
but noisier.

I have BFG AT's on the TJ now, and they are good tires. But I want something
more aggressive. I get out on the logging roads a lot, and the mud around here
is very slick clay stuff, and AT's absolutely SUCK for that, so much so that I
basically don't even try mud with my Jeep. Don't get me wrong, I don't want
to go mud-boggin'; I just want good mud performance when I need it. Also,
where I hunt elk it can snow like crazy, we got hammered last year, and my Jeep
is an important tool in elk camp at that point. It needs to be able to handle
that as well as possible too.
