Tapered. Use an old full sized Bronco if you need an another couple
of inches drop without losing turning radius. Re: is the steering box shaft tapered?
Pretty sure it has a single spline blocked off but can't remember for sure
about a taper. I wanna say, no, but I can't with any certainty. The real reason I'm responding is out of curiosity. Do you want to mount upside down and why? Or, are you just checking to see if someone accidentally put it on wrong? o_o_o_o Best Regards, /| ,[_____], Jim, WP3JQ |¯¯¯L --O|||||||O- ()_)¯()_) ¯¯¯¯¯ )_) EM60qk 30.447439N 086.628959W "serg" <sfon@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:934d0785.0404210749.f969bd2@posting.google.co m... > hey guys-here's a quick one-is the shaft on a saginaw steering box > tapered? the one where the pitman arm goes on. i didn't get a chance > to look at mine this morning. can one install the pitman arm upside > down? thanks! 85 cj7 with power steering.... |
