We don't use "ballock" as an alternative spelling btw.

Thought I agree with what you have to say for the most part, I have to
disagree with what you said above. The fact that there are so many
lawsuits are not because people don't get along but because it is very
cheap to take someone to court yet can cost the defendant a lot of money
even if he wins.

If the loser had to pay the court costs, Mr. Smith wouldn't be wasting
our court time with Mr. Rogers over the sound of his lawn mower or
whatever other frivolous lawsuit he files against another.

Pretty much. Its actually quite hard to take someone to court for making a
noise here ; you have to get the police or council to monitor the noise with
a decibel gauge etc etc.

filed, and won, the world's first newsgroup posting sourced libel
suit. The filer isn't particularly welcome in the country that was
the original subject matter in the postings.
