SON OF A B*^#&!!!

The sun caught my grille this morning, by the PS headlight I saw a strange
shadow. Kind of looked like a spider web, but the sinking feeling in the pit
of my stomache told me it wasn't.

The G**D**N clear is peeling off of the grille.

So, Looks like tomorrow morning, I call the boys down at the dealership, and
send it in. Thank goodness for bumper to bumper.

The shortest distance between two points,
is a lot more fun in a Jeep!

Clear coat is the clear plastic sort of stuff that gets scraped off
your Jeep the first time you go off road.

That is pretty serious!

Either the clear coat failed, or the paint under it failed and there is
no real way to tell which unless they admit a bad paint run like they
'seldom' have to when all the paint peels off piles of them like the
older blue or silver Cherokees.

The whole paint job has been compromised somehow and nothing short of
sandblasting or somehow stripping it back to bare metal or primer and
starting all over again on the whole vehicle will put it right.

I feel for you.
