Mine is internal regulator, like the 7-2A schematic in your link. Only
difference is the white color and markings 1 & 2 instead of brown and A & B
(oddly enough A=2, B=1). The A & B markings are on the nylon connector
itself BTW.

Re: Some quick help please - alternator wires
They are strange. I have heard of some that have reversed pins in the
alternator or maybe now that you mention the a and b, maybe just ****
backward on the plug vs the alternator case.
I didn't pull the plug to see how it was labeled, just looked at the
numbers cast into the alternator case.
If you get it wrong, the engine just won't shut off, no biggie.... Pull
the plug and switch them.

I didn't pull the plug to see how it was labeled, just looked at the
numbers cast into the alternator case.
If you get it wrong, the engine just won't shut off, no biggie.... Pull
the plug and switch them.

alternator or maybe now that you mention the a and b, maybe just ****
backward on the plug vs the alternator case.
