Some quick help please - alternator wires
While preparing to install a battery isolator, the wires on the alternator
fell out of the plug. Can someone confirm the position of the two wires in
the nylon plug to back of the alternator? A large gauge red and a smaller
brown wire are in question. The red also ties back the alternator output
post. The red I assume to be the excite and the brown maybe the volt meter?

Re: Some quick help please - alternator wires
Thanks Bill, but mine is a Delco. I am looking for the particular A & B
wire positions in the nylon connector. A picture of a 258/alternator
installed would show it.
